Marilyn writes dirty books. She doesn’t just write them, she lives them. Since her novels are based on her own salacious experiences, they have a ring of truth to them and Marilyn is quite successful. She is running out of ideas however (as well as experiences to write about), and decides to gather new material by spying on her friends and acquaintances. What she uncovers shocks her, titillates her, and gets her creative juices flowing again. Her publisher eagerly eats up everything she produces, and Marilyn’s surveillance techniques become more sophisticated, effective, and brazen. She can’t keep her operation a secret indefinitely however, and as people find out about her, she is put in some very compromising positions.
